One Song To Rule Them All (Part Deux)

Article 015. I sincerely don’t remember how Foolish Heart by Steve Perry [ https://youtu.be/S9iTAYYAybI?si=D3sIv2WVoxrHF3jK ] became my and Howard’s most favorite song. But whenever we hear it, we will bust out hard. It’s inevitable. There had been countless moments where our lungs were about to explode because we sing this tune with so much gusto. The song did stay for awhile in my number one spot of all-time favorites until my current number one dethroned it in the mid-90s. Here's why. It was a typical Wednesday night, drizzling a bit. I was in college, she was already working (and well-established I should say). We were at her place in the living room. Japan

Article 014. It’s been awhile huh? There’s too much going on in my head, honestly, I haven’t really settled. But there’s a lot to share about Japan so I will pull through and bestow my experience in this article. Get comfy, this is going to be a long one. No eggs for breakfast, really disappointing, at least at the hotel I stayed in, Day 1. They have curry but no eggs (is it the norm there? that would be sad if it is). The coffee cup was so small I had to come back three times to satisfy my already low appetite for caffeine. And the dining area, the most quiet hotel breakfast I’ve ever been by far. A bit eerie if you ask me. The walk to JR Tokyo station was about 15 minutes. It felt surreal walking along the streets. It was so damn neat. I don’t think I saw any litter. Almost everyone was in business attire so my black sweater on white tee and denim was a bit of a stand out.
